Glossary
Prompt
A natural-language instruction sent to a generative AI model to produce an answer. Unlike a query aimed at a search engine, a prompt frames the role, context and expected output. In GEOPromptly, a prompt combines a persona, an intent, a topic and optionally a brand.
Concrete example
"As a parent of two comparing several brands, what are the pros and cons of portable air conditioner X vs Y for a 60 m² apartment?"
Why it matters
Prompt quality drives LLM answer relevance. GEOPromptly generates varied prompt batches so you can measure how your brand appears across a representative spectrum of intents, not a single phrasing.

Related terms
- Persona
A user archetype (age, usage context, tags) on whose behalf a prompt is phrased. It is not a real identity but a narrative frame that shapes tone, vocabulary and the decision criteria expected in the answer.
- Pool of themes
The consolidated set of topics available for prompt generation, aggregated from your imports (sitemap, GSC, URLs, keywords) and your enrichments (PAA, PASF, semantic fingerprint). Each topic can be selected, deselected, or hidden if judged noisy.
- Core vs Rotation
Two categories of elements in a prompt batch. Core (brand, fixed personas) stays constant across the batch to keep a comparable baseline. Rotation (topics, intents) varies prompt by prompt to cover a spectrum.
